BUILD YOUR CAREER IN MEDICAL BILLING

Oremote is a medical billing and revenue cycle team working with healthcare practices across the United States. We hire billing, coding, A/R and administrative professionals who care about getting the details right — because in this work, the details decide whether a practice gets paid.

Life at Oremote

What it's like to work here

Our work sits between a practice's front desk and its payers, so accuracy and follow-through matter more than speed for its own sake. The five values we run the business on are the same ones we look for in the people who join it.

If you want the wider picture first, read our mission and the values behind Oremote or see what makes our approach different from a typical billing vendor.

  • Accuracy

We prioritize accurate patient information, coding, claims, and payment records at every stage of the cycle.

  • Integrity

We operate with transparency and maintain high professional standards in everything we handle for your practice.

  • Efficiency

We focus on reducing delays and improving the overall billing workflow, not just processing what arrives.

  • Communication

Our clients receive clear updates and responsive support, so billing issues never sit unanswered.

  • Results

Every process is designed around improving collections and financial performance you can measure.

Where we hire

Roles we hire for

We do not publish a live list of open positions, and we would rather not advertise a seat we have not opened. These are the areas we recruit in, and applications are welcome in any of them at any time.

Every role below maps to a real stage of the eight-stage revenue cycle we manage for practices, or to the virtual assistant support that keeps a front office running. Knowing which part of that cycle you want to work in tells us more than a job title does.

  • Medical Billers

Charge entry, clean claim creation and payment posting for the practices we manage, across a range of specialties and payers.

    • Charge entry and claim scrubbing
    • Clearinghouse submission and rejection fixes
    • Payment, adjustment and balance posting
  • A/R & Denial Specialists

Working aged accounts and turning denials into paid claims rather than write-offs — the part of the cycle where money is most often lost.

    • Aged A/R follow-up and claim status checks
    • Denial root-cause analysis
    • Corrected claims, appeals and payer follow-up
  • Medical Coders

Assigning and reviewing CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes so that what is submitted matches what the documentation supports.

    • CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS code assignment
    • Documentation and modifier review
    • Coding accuracy and compliance checks
  • Healthcare Virtual Assistants

Administrative support that sits inside a practice's day: scheduling, patient communication, eligibility and authorization follow-up.

    • Scheduling, confirmations and rescheduling
    • Eligibility and prior authorization support
    • Records organization and data entry
  • Client Success

The people a practice actually talks to — onboarding, reporting and making sure billing questions are answered instead of queued.

    • Practice onboarding and workflow setup
    • Reporting and revenue cycle reviews
    • Day-to-day communication with practice staff

How to apply

Applying takes one email

There is no application portal and no form to complete. Send your resume to hello@oremote.co and tell us what kind of work you are looking for.

Experience with U.S. payers, clearinghouses or practice management systems helps, but a careful, methodical approach to the billing workflow we run for every practice matters more. If you are a practice rather than a candidate, contact our billing team instead.

What to include in your email

  • Your resume or CV as a PDF or Word document.
  • The kind of work you are looking for — billing, A/R, coding, virtual assistant support or client success.
  • The specialties, payers, practice management systems and clearinghouses you have worked with.
  • The hours you can cover and the time zone you work from.
  • A sentence or two on a problem you fixed that you are proud of.

Please do not send patient information, system screenshots or any protected health information with your application. Anything you do send is handled under our website privacy policy.

Don't see your role listed?

Send your resume anyway. We would rather hear from a strong biller, coder or A/R specialist early than wait until a seat opens.
