Who We Serve

SPECIALTIES WE SERVE

Oremote bills for primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, mental health, chiropractic, physical therapy, urgent care and procedure-heavy specialty practices — each on the rules that specialty is actually paid under.

Practices We Support

Eight practice types, eight sets of payer rules

The specialty a claim comes from decides which documentation, modifiers and authorizations a payer will demand before it pays. Here is what changes, practice type by practice type.

  • Primary Care Practices

High visit volume with a wide payer mix, where small per-claim errors compound quickly across thousands of encounters.

  • Family Medicine

Preventive-care coding and annual wellness visits carry specific documentation requirements that frequently trigger denials.

  • Internal Medicine

Chronic care management and complex E/M levelling need coding that reflects the actual work performed.

  • Mental Health Practices

Session-based billing, time-based codes, and tight authorization limits make eligibility checks essential.

  • Chiropractic Practices

Medical-necessity documentation and visit-cap rules drive a high share of chiropractic denials.

  • Physical Therapy Clinics

Timed treatment units, plan-of-care certification, and therapy thresholds require close claim scrutiny.

  • Urgent Care Centers

Walk-in volume means insurance details are captured fast — verification and clean registration matter most here.

  • Specialty Practices

Procedure-heavy specialties depend on modifier accuracy and prior authorization tracking to get paid correctly.

Why It Matters

Why specialty-specific billing matters

Denials are rarely random. They cluster around the rules a specialty is billed under — and a team that does not know those rules re-learns them one rejected claim at a time.

A chiropractic claim fails on medical-necessity documentation. A physical therapy claim fails on timed units or an expired plan-of-care certification. A mental health claim fails on an authorization that ran out three sessions ago. Same payer, three entirely different failure modes.

That is why we do not run one workflow across every client. Your specialty determines which checks matter most in insurance eligibility and benefits verification, which code sets and modifiers get scrutinised in medical coding, and which denial reasons your denial management queue should be built to catch first.

We work that out before we take over anything. Step one of our five-step billing process reads your payer mix and denial history so the workflow we design in step two is shaped around the claims your practice actually submits — which is the same reason customized workflows sit near the top of what practices tell us they were missing.

Don’t see your specialty?

The eight above are the practice types we work with most, not a closed list. Oremote supports other healthcare providers on the same model: we assess how your claims are paid, then build the workflow around it.

If your specialty is not listed, tell us what you bill and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
